We would recommend this beautifully appointed house as being ideally situated both for exploring Hadrians Wall and for the gorgeous countryside all around.

We are walkers and completed the 87 mile Hadrian Path Walk. Each day returning to Alpha Rise after driving,then walking and catching buses,was welcome after a busy day.
We recommend Alpha Rise to all walkers.

The house and everything in it were just what we wanted. All were of the highest quality, all the extras like DVDs and dishwasher were a welcome addition.
Everyone here has been very friendly. The surrounding area was wonderful and it would be lovely to come in the Spring or Summer to take advantage of some lovely walks.
Many thanks to the owners for looking after us during our stay.
